National Bank of Pakistan under the MoU signed with SMI University agreed to provide Need-Based scholarship to the students of Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi and since December 31, 2015, almost 48 students have availed/benefited from the NBP scholarships, and amongest them 20 students have successfully completed their four years bachelor’s degree program.
Recently, Mr. Iqbal Wahid SVP / Divisional Head (CSRD), National Bank of Pakistan, along with his team visited the Alma Mater of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to discuss the future prospects of both the institutions and agreed to continue this welfare, moreover, handed over the cheque of scholarship to Dr. Stephen John, Director, Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), SMI University.
