The Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) has announced the Grant-in-Aid for Laboratory Strengthening Program 2026–27.

Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) and the Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) signed an MoU on October 5, 2026, at Conference Room No. 2, SMIU, to provide paid internship opportunities to women students of Mass Communication, Media Studies, and English.
The collaboration will offer students practical journalism experience, professional training, mentorship, and career development opportunities across Sindh. The MoU reflects both institutions’ commitment to women’s empowerment, professional development, and employability.

Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) and NEXSKILL signed an MoU on 04-06-2026 in Conference Room No. 1, Main Building, SMIU, to launch free 3-month industry-oriented training programs under the NAVTTC Blended Program.
